humans created time, humans base time on the length it takes for the earth to rotate around the sun. we use it to measure the distance of our lives. be it four-years, nine days or sixty seconds. we have traveled that amount of time around the sun, in our life time.

since humans have not been around forever, to give a measurement of time to the universe is earth-centric.

does time exist in space?

if you look at a far away galaxy while standing on earth, you are looking at light emitted from that galaxy millions of years ago. the galaxy is not in the same exact location anymore. but we still see the energy/light emitted from it. it's presence is still there. so, time becomes irrelevant in space. we are only measuring distance from earth to another galaxy. but the function of time has no purpose outside of earth because we base time on earth's rotation.

if we were on venus, time would be different based on venus' rotation around the sun, if we use the same reasoning as we do on earth. an hour would not be an hour on venus. a year would not be a year. in order to figure out the exact time, we would need to configure or distort time to earth time.

so, time has no relevance in space. only when measuring distance. has the universe been around forever? we need something to compare it to and with out it, it doesn't exist.

time doesn't exist in space.

everything is how it was and how it has always been. no big bang, no vortexes, no strings.

just space.
